  • In “Settings“, go to “Shipping and Delivery.”
  • Create shipping zones (Domestic, International).
  • Determine shipping rates:
  • Flat Rate – A fixed fee per order.
  • Free Shipping – A marketing technique to lure customers.
  • Real-Time Carrier Rates – Dynamic pricing via USPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.
  • Add local pickup or delivery option if needed.
  • Save settings.

Step 7: Legal Pages and Store Policies

  • In “Settings”, navigate to “Policies”.
  • Create and customize the following:
  • Refund Policy
  • Privacy Policy
  • Terms of Service
  • Shipping Policy
  • Click Save.

Step 8: Select Shopify Plan & Remove Password Protection

  • “Settings” then go to “Plan”
  • Select a suitable Shopify plan;

  • Insert billing details and confirm your subscription.
  • To “Online Store” >> “Preferences”, click and remove password protection on your store, making it live.

Step 9: Add a Custom Domain (Optional but Recommended).

  • From the admin panel, go to “Settings” then “Domains.”
  • You have three options:
  • Buy a new domain through Shopify, for example: www.yourbrand.com
  • Connect an existing one from GoDaddy, Namecheap, or another provider.
  • Set your custom domain as default.
